1. Organisation of an Electronic Shop accepting international payment system cards.

One of electronic commerce’s (e-commerce’s) highest-priority tendencies is the sale of goods and services over the Internet using international payment system cards. Providing Internet payment options along with traditional forms of payment facilitates not only an improvement in service but also an increase in sales, due to the fact that in addition to reducing costs related to maintaining a chain of shops, the Internet significantly expands the shop's geographic representation and its accessibility to customers.

Raiffeisenbank offers companies that have electronic shops payment organisation and transaction services (acquiring services) through the Internet using the Visa and MasterCard international payment systems with acquiring done through the bank's processing centre. We offer a full spectrum of services for connecting electronic shops to the bank’s system and transacting electronic shop sales.

Raiffeisenbank has received a certification from the VISA and MasterCard payment systems for the implementation of the 3-D Secure (Verified by VISA) and MasterCard SecureCode Program technologies for Internet shop acquiring, which allows the bank to conduct VbV acquiring in accordance with VISA and MasterCard requirements. This technology significantly increases the security of online payments through Internet shops.


2. Security

A dual verification is conducted when payments are made using international payment system cards:

  • Payment system verification (information on details of the payment card being transmitted via the Internet is protected by the system)
  • Verification by the Raiffeisenbank processing centre through the security systems of the international payment systems

Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode

Verified by Visa and MasterCard® SecureCode are programmes that use a password checking method to authenticate the user and protect your transactions from chargeback operations.

Visa CVV2, MasterCard CVC2

These are the three or four last digits printed on the signature area on the reverse side of a credit card. This implies that the purchaser has the card and can see all the data on its surface during the payment process.

Only the client and the payment system know the card number

During the transaction process, the card number appears only on the payment system’s secure pages. The page’s data are physically located on our server; the card information is not passed on to the shop and remains only with us. In this way, we reduce the risk of passing the card number on to a third party.

Secure WEB server

In the lower right-hand corner of your browser, this symbol should appear: . This means that all the information is being transferred securely using the SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. Open the information on the SSL certificate (by clicking twice on the icon) and verify the site owner’s data. The following text should be contained under the Details tab on the Subject line:

Firewall

For the protection of the e-commerce server, we use an isolated DMZ zone that is protected by an internal firewall. This allows us to be sure that access to the server is restricted to certain network addresses.


3. Fees

Fees are determined at agreement signing and depend on the turnover and the nature of the products of the shop.


4. Procedure for Accessing the Service

To connect your electronic shop to the payment service through Raiffeisenbank, the procedure below must be followed.

  1. Fill out an application* and send it to e-commerce@raiffeisen.ru;
  2. When the application is reviewed, the bank’s conditions will be presented to you;
  3. Upon agreement to the bank’s conditions, you will be sent all the necessary documents, including a contract filled out by the bank;
  4. After you have signed the contract, you and the bank will conduct a test of the electronic shop's connection.
