Types of cards offered by Raiffeisenbank

Raiffeisenbank issues cards from the two largest international payment systems: VISA and MasterCard International.

Types of VISA cards:

VISA Electron RUR can be used in ATMs, stores, restaurants - everywhere you see VISA Electron logo. Valid in Russia and foreign countries.

VISA Electron USD is accepted in sales outlets equipped with electronic terminals and everywhere you can see the VISA Electron logo, both in Russia and abroad.

VISA Classic USD is accepted in all sales outlets and ATMs with VISA logo.

VISA Gold can be used everywhere you can see VISA logo. This card will be ideal for those who frequently travel abroad. It also offers a number of additional services:

• unlimited purchases;
• free insurance from AIG covering a wide range of risks on foreign trips;
• free access to the Visa Global Customer Assistance service for travel assistance (legal, medical etc.);
• emergency cash payment or card replacement.

Types of MASTERCARD:

Raiffeisenbank offers individual customers three types of cards issued to euro accounts:

Maestro: equivalent to VISA Electron. It is accepted only in sales outlets equipped with electronic terminals. You always need to enter your PIN code in order to make a payment with the card.

MasterCard Standard: equivalent to VISA Classic card. It is accepted in all sales outlets and ATMs with MasterCard logo.

MasterCard Gold: equivalent to VISA Gold card. It is a prestigious card for wealthy people, especially for those who frequently travel abroad, with a number of additional services for travellers.
