Russia’s Raiffeisenbank is sponsoring the festival «Bolshaya Peremena»

In 2010 Raiffeisenbank is once again supporting the Childrens International Festival of Theatre Bolshaya Peremena.

The festival is taking place from October 29 to November 7 in the Bc Mayerkhold Center, in Teatre.doc, the Practice theatre, the Studio club and at other venues around Moscow.

The festival was launched in 2007 upon the initiative of the theatre Practice with the support of the Moscow Government. The festival programme was created by Russian and foreign experts in the field of childrens theatre, and it represents the best that exists in the art world for kids today.

Under the auspices of the festival, original, distinctive and consistently entertaining performances are played at various venues around Moscow. Bolshaya Peremena performances are a collection of the best Russian and foreign childrens shows, which were selected by the organisers of the festival during the year.

This is not the first year in which the festival has given professionals in the field of theatre for children the opportunity to meet and share their experience. The festival also encourages Russian theatre to work with new texts and use modern technology in childrens productions.

This is not the first year in which Raiffeisenbank has supported Bolshaya Peremena, because this project focuses specifically on childrens theatre, whose development is very important. I am confident that the performances taking place as part of Bolshaya Peremena, will be well received by the small audiences. Under the sponsorship policy, we support projects that are well organised and are culturally and socially significant, such as this festival, said Andrew Stepanenko, head of the Consumer Banking Directorate, and a board member of Raiffeisenbank.
