Raiffeisen International Bank-Holding AG welcomes the football teams from Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) to the Euro 08 with a billboard campaign. The billboards will be displayed in Vienna, Klagenfurt, Innsbruck and Salzburg and will address both the teams and their fans from Croatia, Poland and Russia in their native languages. Furthermore, the ads will also be shown in Bad Tatzmannsdorf and Bad Waltersdorf, where the Croatian and Polish teams are accommodated. The Czech team will play in Switzerland but will be welcomed in Seefeld (Tyrol), where their hotel is located. In case Romania will make it through the group stage in Switzerland, ads have been prepared for them as well in Vienna.
The posters feature the Raiffeisen Bank of the respective country as brand. «Our main aim is to present ourselves as good hosts. We intend to communicate to the teams, the accompanying fans and the many emigrants in Austria that Raiffeisen is a partner you can trust in and who chooses an individual approach in any country. Also, we want to present our group’s cultural diversity to the Austrians,» said Michael Palzer, Head of Communications in Raiffeisen International.
The ads complement the successful campaign of the Austrian Raiffeisen Banking Group supporting the Austrian football team as sponsor.
