OAO AMURMETAL, a major ironworks in Far East of Russia, placed thesecond bond issue on Russia''s MICEX on March 02, 2007. As a result ofthe bids the first coupon rate was fixed at 9.15% p.a. The bond yield tomaturity amounted to 9.36% p.a.
A total of 44 investors applied for participation. Investors quotedrates from 8.75% to 9.25% p.a. The whole issue was placed within one day.
Raiffeisenbank was the originator of the issue.
The issue co-originators included VTB, Rosbank, NOMOS-Bank.
The issue underwriters were ICICI Bank, Moscow Bank for Reconstructionand Development, AK BARS Bank, Uralsib.
The bonds have a total nominal value of 2 bln. rubles and a maturityperiod of three years with payment of semiannual coupons. The rates ofall coupons are equal and amount to 9.15% p.a.
The issuer plans to use the proceeds from the bond placement torefinance the current credit portfolio and to finance investmentprojects.
AMURMETAL is a major ironworks in Far East which processes scrap ironinto general-purpose flat and bar iron. Over 50% of the products areexported to South-East Asia: Korea, Vietnam, the Philippines and others.The proceeds of the company as of Q3/2006 amounted to 7 bln. rubles withnet income totaling 272 mln. rubles.
