The united ATM network of ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria and OAO IMPEXBANKnow count more than 1000 items. ATMs are located all across Russia inthe Bank branches, major trade outlets, car showrooms and businesscenters.
After the acquisition of IMPEXBANK in April 2006 the mutual abolishmentof Raiffeisenbank and IMPEXBANK ATM fees has become the first good newsfor the customers. At the beginning of May 2006 when ZAO RaiffeisenbankAustria and OAO IMPEXBANK banking card holders got a possibility to useATMs of both banks fee-free, the combined ATM network counted about 700machines. Now IMPEXBANK ATM network has 533 machines, and that ofRaiffeisenbank - 472.
In addition to standard functions like receiving account balanceinformation Raiffeisenbank and IMPEXBANK ATMs allow to make payments formobile phone, Internet and TV services. Some of the machines may serveas additional currency exchange points. The banks'' customers can alsomake cash contributions via Raiffeisenbank and IMPEXBANK ATMs.
"Rapid development of the ATM network is largely due to the increase ofdemand for performance of operations using bank cards. It should benoted that since we have started our cooperation with IMPEXBANK we havebeen able to increase the ATM number almost by 30%," says Johann Jonach,CEO of ZAO Raiffeisenbank Austria."Such considerable increase of theATM number was possible only due to the joint efforts of both banks."
