Continuing the programme of regional presence expansion, Raiffeisenbankopens its first regional branch in the South of Russia– Kubansky branch in Krasnodar. The official opening of the branch took place on the 22nd of June, 2006. Kubansky is the seventh regional branch in the wide network of Raiffeisenbank and the first branch of the Bank in South Federal District of Russia.
Official press conference devoted to the branch opening and theribbon-cutting ceremony took place within the branch premises atSevernaya street, 311/1. Questions raised by the journalists wereanswered not only by Members of the Managing Board of Raiffeisenbank andmanagement of Kubansky branch, but also by representatives ofAdministration of Krasnodar Region: Head of Administration, Mr. Tkachev,First Deputy Head of Administration, Mr. Remezkov, DeputyPlenipotentiary of the President of the Russian Federation in SouthFederal District, Mr. Gaevsky.
At the press conference Head of Krasnodar region Administration, Mr.Tkachev stated:”Banking society is an active player in the economic development of the region. Over the last several years consumer lending demonstrated dynamic growth. We are discussing several issues of collaboration with Raiffeisenbank, including realization of special programmes such as loans issued to agriculture sector, mortgage lending and consumer loans.”
