The official press-conference that announced opening of Raiffeisenbank’s regional branch in Samara with premises in “European Quarter” complex at Molodogvardeyskaya street, 180, was held on the 22nd of September 2005.
Raiffeisenbank’s members of the Managing Board and lead managers of “Samarski” regional branch presented at the official press-conference and answered questions raised by journalists of the leading regional mass media.
Michel Perhirin, Chairman of the Managing Board of Raiffeisenbank,stated at the press-conference:“In the year 2003 the Bank took strategic regional expansion programme, which included Samara among the first cities for opening. As far back as 2001 we had opened a regional branch in Saint Petersburg. In March 2005 we opened a regional branch in Ekaterinburg which isvery active in its development; and now we expect much from this newly opened regional branch – “Samarski”. Samara region is one of the most dynamically developing with already shaped demand for banking services and we are happy to offer our clients all the bankingproducts they need”.
Raiffeisenbank’s operations are equally focused on commercial, retail and investment banking activities. As every branch “Samarski” offers the complete range of services to both corporate and individual clients, furthermore the Bank possesses the necessary experience of implementingand adapting banking products to the needs of the Russian companies and household on the regional level. Alongside with banking products the regional branch will also offer services of all Raiffeisen affiliate companies in Russia: Raiffeisen-Leasing, Non-State Pension FundRaiffeisen, OOO Raiffeisen Capital Asset Management Company.
On the corporate side Raiffeisenbank is already successfully cooperatingwith a number of regional enterprises and intends to expand cooperationwith corporate clients including medium- and small-sized companies,offering a full range of corporate financial services.
Retail products offered comprise the full scale of loan productsincluding mortgage, car and unsecured loans.
Further retail banking products include deposit and current accounts,all types of bank cards, as well as safe boxes, travel cheques,investment products and Internet-banking services.
At present the Bank disposes of 13 branches in Moscow, 3 branches inSaint Petersburg and 1 in Ekaterinburg and 1 in Samara. Further regionalbranches are planned for opening in the year 2005 - 2006.
