Günter Reibersdorfer and Hannes Schmid new Members of Supervisory Board
Raiffeisen ZentralbankÖsterreich AG’s (RZB) Supervisory Board has two new Members and a new Vice-President, reflecting changes in the Managing Boards of Raiffeisenlandesbanks(Regional Raiffeisen Banks): Julius Marhold follows Manfred Holztrattner as Member of the Executive Committee and Vice-President of RZB’s Supervisory Board,whereas Günther Reibersdorfers succeeds Holztrattner as Member of the Supervisory Board. At the same time Hannes Schmid follows Reinhard Mayr as Member of the Supervisory Board.
Julius Marhold, born in 1948, entered the former Raiffeisenverband Burgenland in 1974 and became Chairman of its Managing Board in 1982. Since 1986 he is Director General of Raiffeisenlandesbank Burgenland und Revisionsverband regGenmbH (as it is called now) and also a member of RZB’s Supervisory Board.
Günther Reibersdorfer, born in 1954, entered Raiffeisenverband Salzburg regGenmbH in 1981 and was appointed as Chairman of the Managing Board in July 2005. After traineeships in German and Swiss Banks he became Assistant to the Board. From 1989 to 1998 Reibersdorfer was Head of the Human Resources Department and since 1999 Head of Corporate Management, Risk Management, Controlling and Relations to the Raiffeisen Banking Group.
Hannes Schmid, born in 1953, is Chairman of the Board of Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol AG since April 2005. He has developed strategic concepts for Raiffeisenlandesbanks for the past three years as General Manager of strategie.team-BeratungsgmbH.
Raiffeisen-Landesbank Tirol holds directly and indirectly 5.84 per cent of RZB’s shares, Raiffeisenverband Salzburg 5.79 per cent and Raiffeisenlandesbank Burgenland 4.62 per cent.
