On 24 October, ZAO Raiffeisenbank’s Tyumen branch celebrated two years of activities in the region.
In two years of operations, the branch has formed a first-class clientele base and earned itself a reputation as a reliable, high-tech credit organisation. There are more than 200 corporate clients and more than 10,000 individual clients. As of the beginning of October 2009, the overall credit portfolio of the branch came to 1.6 billion roubles; its overall depositary portfolio was more than 800 million roubles, half of which are deposits by individual clients (which is twice the amount that was seen at the beginning of October 2008). For the second year, the branch has demonstrated an increase in income from current account service: in comparison with the same period last year, the income from commissions on corporate entities rose by 90%.
In talking about the Network Bank’s activities, Pavel Gurin, CEO of ZAO Raiffeisenbank, noted: «The results by our regional offices, including our Tyumen colleagues, speak to the fact that we have chosen a good development direction in the regions. The bank’s plans to expand the regional network in Tyumen include the opening one more office on a new technological platform, which, I am sure, will help the Tyumen branch make more progress. The opening of offices in the new format throughout the entire network will allow us to create an effective operational model, which, of course, will have a positive effect on the level of customer service.»
Since the moment it opened, the branch has played an active role in life in Tyumen, regularly taking part in economic and investment forums, conferences, and socially oriented events. The branch is a member of the Tyumen Regional Association of Credit Organisations, the Tyumen Oil Club Non-Profit Organisation, and the Mercury Club Non-Profit Organisation (a regional subdivision of the Mercury Club under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation).
ZAO Raiffeisenbank’s Tyumen branch pays special attention to corporate social responsibility programmes. In 2009 it became a sponsor of a children’s mini-football team. The bank’s support and the leadership of an experienced coach helped the team achieve high results in its city.
The Tyumen Network Bank is part of the Urals Regional Centre. Currently, ZAO Raiffeisenbank’s Urals Regional Centre includes 13 offices that operate in Ekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Perm, Tyumen, Surgut, Ufa, and Izhevsk.
