Raiffeisenbank’s Urals Branch Celebrates Its 5th Anniversary

Raiffeisenbanks Urals Branch has celebrated its 5th anniversary. Opened in March 2005, the branch succeeded in quickly winning the confidence of customers and colleagues in the regional bank community thanks to its high quality standards. At present, the branch counts among Yekaterinburg largest banks and Raiffeisenbanks top 3 network banks in terms of size and profitability.

In congratulating his colleagues on the anniversary, Pavel Gurin, the CEO of Raiffeisenbank, pointed out: From the outset of its operations to the present time, the branch has maintained its reputation as one of the most stable and efficient banks in the region, which would be impossible without competent top managers and employees. I would like to thank Vitaly Milovanov, the director of Raiffeisenbanks Urals regional centre and the Director of the Urals Branch, and also his entire team for the professionalism and commitment that, I am sure, has enabled us to perform so well in the Urals Federal District.

At present, the Urals Branchs credit portfolio exceeds RUB 14 billion, and the retail loan portfolio exceeds RUB 2.5 billion. The branch and three Yekaterinburg-based additional offices service more than 30,000 private customers. Virtually all the major enterprises of the region are corporate customers of the branch. Two hypermarkets were built and commissioned in Yekaterinburg with the participation of the Urals Branch in 2009.

The Urals Branch is also active in the regions social, cultural and public life. In particular, in 2009, the branch sponsored the Sverdlovsk Region Governor Cup in horse racing and also organised one of the largest-scale charitable events of the year  The Cheburashkas Birthday for orphans and disabled children. More than 400 children from asylums and boarding schools around the city took part in the event. In 2010, the branch plans to participate in a high-profile socio-cultural project in the city  the First Vienna Festival of Musical Films.

Raiffeisenbanks Urals Branch is in Raiffeisenbanks Urals regional centre, which unites 5 cities in which the bank operates: Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Tyumen, Surgut, and Zlatoust. At present, the Urals branch has 3 offices in the centre of Yekaterinburg. There is a network of 34 Raiffeisenbanks ATMs in Yekaterinburg.
